The sunshine coast is a town in queensland, it is home of the big pineapple and big macadamia.
In the 1820s the first european inhabitants which were three castaways came to settle here at the coast. They adopted the local Kabi Kabi traditions. In the 1840s and 1830s more and more runaway convicts came to settle here. In 1842 the governor has declared the sunshine coast, mt beerwah and parts of eumundi a Bunyi Bunyi reserve. After the 1980s, the sunshine coast experienced rapid population growth.
